HLK-MB4 Manipulator Arm
• Four Functions

The HLK-MB4 Manipulator Arm is a utility-class arm that is ideally suited for installation on many of the smaller ROVs. This arm is supplied as standard with the Gauntlet Plus System.
It utilizes the HLK-2020 Contin-uous Rotate Jaw Actuator and HLK-1300 Hydraulic Cylinders.

HLK-RHD4 Heavy-Duty Manipulator Arm
• Four Functions

The HLK-RHD4 Manipulator Arm is a four-function, rugged heavy-duty arm. It is designed to act as a grabber and can be fitted with a set of larger jaws to grip up to 300mm diameters. It is intended for complementary use with other five- or six-function arms.
It is capable of lifting 90kg at full reach.

HLK-Gauntlet Plus System Kit
• Four Functions

The Gauntlet Plus is an upgraded version of the Gauntlet System. It is comprised of a HLK-MB4 Manipulator, Valve Pack, Power Pack, and full telemetry control system. The arm is fitted with a high torque, HLK-2020 Continuous Rotate Jaw. The system can be easily expanded for dual arm configur-ation and provision of a disc cutter.

HLK-43000 Mini Gauntlet Manipulator Arm

The HLK-43000 Mini Gauntlet Arm is a five-function, lightweight arm designed for small ROVs. The stainless steel jaws incor-porate a 180º jaw rotatation with a 1/4 " diameter rope cutter. This arm has been designed to work with Hydro-Lek's HLK-70150 Five-Way Valve Pack and HLK-91000 DC Power Pack.

HLK-EH5 Medium-Duty Manipulator Arm
• Five Functions

One of the most popular medium-duty arms. The HLK-EH5 is a compact, stowable arm with a reach of almost 800mm. Constructed from 316 stainless steel and HE 30 aluminum. It incorporates the HLK-2010 Jaw Actuator and three HLK-1300 Cylinders. ROVs fitted with this arm include: Argus, Recon, Surveyor, Panther, and Sperre.

HLK-HD5 Heavy-Duty Manipulator Arm
• Five Functions

A rugged work arm for smaller ROVs. Constructed from 316 stainless steel, HE30 alumi-num, and high density poly-ethylene. It incorporates the HLK-2020 Continuous Jaw Rotate Assembly and three HLK-1300 Cylinders. The arm
is capable of lifting over 50 kg
at a full reach of 800 mm. ROVs fitted with this arm include MAX ROV and Panther.

HLK-RHD5 Heavy-Duty Manipulator Arm

This arm has similar geometry to the HLK-HD5 Manipulator Arm but with increased lifting capa-city. It incorporates 35 mm bore cylinders (HLK-13020) and is capable of lifting 90 kg at 175 bar hydraulic pressure. It is fitted with the HLK-2020 Continuous Rotate Jaw Assembly.

HLK-HD6R Heavy-Duty Manipulator Arm

The HLK-HD6R Manipulator arm is based on the HLK-HD5, but with an HLK-2260 Rotary Actuator fitted at the shoulder joint, which is mountable in four separate positions to allow port and starboard mounting, as well as offering additional up or down functions.

HLK-HD6B Heavy-Duty Manipulator Arm
• Six Functions

A variant of the HLK-HD5 arm,
it incorporates a sixth function, which can be mounted to fold the arm to the right or left. It incorporates a HLK-2020 Con-tinuous Rotate Jaw Assembly and four HLK-1300 Cylinders. It is 1535 mm fully extended and can be configured as a port or starboard mounting.

HLK-CRA6 Light-Duty,
Long-Reach Manipulator Arm

A long-reach, lightweight arm being only 14 kg in water and reaches over 1400 mm and can lift 30 kg. Designed to collect sea bed samples it can also be used as an extended camera or lighting platform. It incorporates the HLK-2010 Continuous Rotate Jaw Assembly and four HLK-1300 Cylinders. It is con-structed from 316 stainless steel, HE 30 aluminum, and high density polyethylene. Vehicles fitted include Newtsub.

HLK-40500 Work-Class Manipulator Arm
• Seven Functions

The HLK-40500 Manipulator is
a rugged seven-function, work-class arm. It incorporates the HLK- 2010 Continuous Rotate Jaw mechanism which also has the unique 19 mm diameter rope cutter. The arm also uses the HLK-11050 (44.5 mm bore) hydraulic cylinders to give additional lifting capability.

Feedback ports provide capa-bility for manipulator positioning feedback better than one minute/degree without initialization requirement.

HLK-47000 Manipulator Arm
• Six Functions

The HLK-47000 is a six-function manipulator designed with the intention of collection and recovery of delicate materials and live sea life specimens. The collection is achieved using the HLK-24000, a picking device consisting of a radial arrange-ment of ten finger pairs. The system consists of a 90º slew of a parallelogram arm for vertical lift, attached to the end of this is a dexterous arm that provides a 180º rotation and two additional bend functions.

The HLK-47000 arm with HLK-24000 finger-type picker has been designed with a degree of interchangeable tooling in mind, allowing task specific tools of similar dimensions to be fitted.

HLK-EH5C Camera Boom

Based on the HLK-EH5 arm, this is fitted with the HLK-2010C Jaw Assembly Conversion. The booms, used in pairs, can be mounted upside down to enable pipelines of up to 30" diameter to be surveyed with full camera control, and stowed away for vehicle recovery. The same standard control system can be used as with the manipulator arm control.

HLK-4600 Camera Boom

The HLK-4600 is a rugged Camera Boom Arm designed to inspect 36" diameter pipeline. Constructed from predominantly plastic and stainless steel, these arms can be operated from Hydro-Lek's standard hydraulic system and fitted to any ROV.

HLK-46000 Camera Boom
with Mini Pan and Tilt

The HLK-46000 is a compact camera boom that is lighter in weight than the HLK 4600 and is suitable for mounting on smaller ROVs. The main limb is com-prised of two sections operated from one hydraulic cylinder and is capable of measuring around one meter of pipeline.
