Circle Seal Valves
When closed, the resilient seal design of these adjustable pop-off and in-line relief valves prevent leakage. Sealing efficiency increases with increased pressure (up to cracking pressure). A metal-to-metal poppet stop supports spring load to prevent sticking. When system pressure overcomes spring force, the poppet opens. As pressure continues to rise, the variable orifice between the poppet and body increases, thereby allowing greater flow. When reseating, the resilient seal automatically establishes line of contact with spherical seat. The seal provides zero leakage at reseat.
